A Brief Review of the ASUS UL80Vt-A1 laptop
Design and construction
The UL80Vt has a sleek design. At only 1.1 inches thick is definitely a machine, and the sides inward pursued is even thinner. The cover is more appealing than laptops with the declaration of brushed aluminum and the design of the hinge angle. The island-style keypad adds visual interest, but it is flush with the surface of the cell. Although UL80Vt 8-cell battery is large, the designer has successfully integrated between the hinges of the screen to give an appearance of color. The UL80Vt is discreet and can adapt at home and at work.
The UL80Vt has a plastic construction, with the exception of the foil-backed securities. All visible surfaces are polished which means that dust and fingerprints are easy to keep clean, this laptop is a chore. Plastics are very reasonable quality.

Keyboard and touchpad
The UL80Vt-A1 has a Chiclet keyboard / island style with more space between the keys. Unfortunately, the keyboard is poor and does nothing well. Typing on the keyboard is too loose as if it were simply supported on the frame instead of being insured and has a rattling cheap, especially on the left side. Flex is also a problem in the left side. Tactile feedback is very limited, and not enough key travel is very short. In addition, the keys are stronger than you prefer. As a result of these shortcomings is to write annoying especially for prolonged periods.
The touchpad is also below average. Its glossy surface is difficult to follow and a button on each piece is a bit “noisy and hard to press. I had to press the left and the right to obtain plans to register.
Performance and benchmarks

The G210M Nvidia GeForce graphics card is a classic and can play the latest games like Crysis well. I tried an old game, Counter-Strike: Source, in an informal setting and ran on all high settings with ease. The reality is that not much can be done with only 16 shader units and a memory interface of 64 bits. For older games (~ 2005), G210M enough, but for new games to find a laptop with a more powerful graphics card.
Heat and noise
At least UL80Vt is essentially silent for all purposes. At full load, fan speed, but remains silent, no fan or deplore the tone annoying. The fan is located on the left side of the laptop and not expel a lot of heat, except a full load – this system simply does not produce much heat to begin with. The chassis handles heat well, the rest of the palm to be close to room temperature and only the left side of the laptop heats up a little.
Battery

Operating System and Software
The UL80Vt-A1 comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and a net pre-loaded too. Many of these pre-loaded “bloatware” utilities (as shown in the image on the right) are the elements that increase the access time to start each time you turn on your laptop. If ASUS could integrate all public services in a central control panel, then there would be a problem. The large number of them at this point is useless.
Since one of the main advantages of using Windows 7 is the fastest boot time, there’s really no reason to slow down your computer with this much bloatware.
Conclusion

really wants love, but also many drawbacks to recommend overwhelming. Although it has a range of ten hours of stellar design, elegant and with good overall performance, shoddy construction, bad keyboard, touchpad and hostile prevent us from signing the praises.
