Internet download speed slows down?
Can someone answer me why 2 different systems running on the same ISP would experience different download speed?
Same ISP
Rig 1. Windows 7 (Desktop) –> Speed test: 15Mbps download
Rig 2. Windows XP (Laptop – MSI u100) –> Speed test: 10Mbps download
I mean i just need the possible answers to this problem.

There are several different parameters involved in TCP/IP speeds. Windows 7 and Vista get these about right automatically, but XP does not. (And I can personally say that Windows 98 SE doesn’t even come close.) If you want to fiddle with XP, the tool you need is called DrTCP. Get it here…
