Rovos Rail Travels To Namibia

Generally, the Namibian territory is made up of five major geographical areas to include the Central Plateau, the Great Escarpment, the Kalahari Desert, the Bushveld and the Namib Desert. The Central Plateau houses most of the population and economic activities of the country. The Great Escarpment Desert comes with poorly developed soil but is actually more productive than the Namib Desert, which is a vast area of plains and dunes along the coastline. One of the Earth’s most amazing features is the Etosha Pan, which spans across the northern central area of the country, particularly within the Bushveld territory. The Kalahari Desert is home to more than 5,000 different plant species, which is probably due to the stable precipitation in this area.
These wonders across the Namibian territory give tourists the perfect journey through the virginal and beautiful landscapes of Africa.
